Midcentury, walnut and laminate, five-drawer tall chest by Johnson Carper with distinctive diamond-front drawer faces in the style of the classic United Diamond-Front suite. This piece features three diamond-fronted drawers in a slightly inset upper section. These drawers open via hidden, inset pulls set along the outer edges of each drawer face. two more drawers with flat fronts sit in the lower, somewhat wider section of the case. This piece sits atop integral, sculpted legs which form a plinth base on the either side of the case. The top is finished in a durable, faux-walnut laminate. There is some slight wear throughout this piece in the form of small veneer chips and light scratching—see pics. In overall great vintage condition.
