Midcentury, light walnut dining set with six chairs, an oval table, and a single leaf.

The table sits atop beautiful, slender, tapered round legs with dark brown stiletto feet. The table top has been newly refinished in-house. It retains a faint dark circle from previous heat damage to veneer. A ding to one of the curved sides of the table had been patched. A wire mechanism is attached to the underside of the table, which is pulled to separate the table at its center to accommodate the leaf. The single leaf has not been refinished and has some wear.

The set of six chairs includes five standard dining chairs and single captain’s chair. These chairs have front round legs, also with stiletto feet, which match those of the table.

The seats have been newly reupholstered in-house in an off-white linen fabric. The backs have a pair of vertical bowtie-shaped panels. The captain’s chair has nicely curved, sculpted arms. There is some wear to finish throughout chair frames, but in overall great vintage condition.

Chairs: 19.25” wide (standard chairs), 22” wide (captain’s chair) x 17.5” deep x 34.5” tall, 18.75” seat height

Leaf: 12” wide
