Midcentury Walnut Dining Set
Midcentury, dining set consisting of a walnut dining table, two leaves, and four chairs.
The dining table has a medium walnut toned finish. It sits atop nicely sculpted, slender, tapered legs. The table pulls apart from the center to accommodate the included leaves. A wonderfully carved stretcher, which curves out on the short sides, runs around the bottom of the table top. There is some light scratching to finish throughout table top and leaves. In overall great vintage condition.
The chairs, designed by John Van Koert for Drexel’s “Dateline,” have wonderful, angular, walnut frames. Seats and backs are upholstered in a blue, beige, and cream striped fabric. There is some finish wear to the frames but no notable stains or rips to fabric. Chairs have just been cleaned and sanitized. I’m great vintage condition.
