Midcentury, walnut and ash, five drawer gentleman’s chest by Sieling Modern Furniture. A pair of upper cabinet doors open via sculpted, vertical wooden pulls to reveal two interior drawers. These cabinet doors sit above three lower drawers which also open via sculpted, vertical, wooden pulls.
The top of these three drawers has two dividers while the bottom of these three drawers is a lift top cedar chest which opens via a brass round pull—see pics. This piece sits atop integral, slightly splayed spider legs which wrap around the face of the lower three drawers in a lighter toned band.
These legs are connected by a nicely sculpted stretcher base. The perimeter of the upper cabinets is likewise a lighter toned band. There are scuffs, tiny dings, and light crackling to finish throughout, but in overall great vintage condition.
