French Oversized Buffet

Magnificent, unique, mahogany and lacquerware french buffet. This enormous sideboard has a multitude of gorgeous details. The top has a raised rectangular center with a slightly lower contoured border which overhangs the case of the piece. Three magnificent dark lacquerware cabinet doors front this piece. They have a gilt, braided cord motif border running around their faces. These doors open via small brass keys on the left and right which work as pulls and locking mechanisms. The left side features a pair of removable shelves. The center and left cabinets both feature a slim upper drawer and a single removable shelf. This piece sits atop bold, sculpted, integral spider legs. These legs are separated from the case by a groove which appears to cut the feet from the tall legs which rise the full height of the piece. Some finish wear throughout in the form of scuffs, dings, and discoloration commensurate with age and use. In overall great vintage condition.
