“Wild West” by Mason Rader

Sale price Price $325.00 Regular price $465.00 Unit price  per

Spectacular multimedia piece entitled “Wild West” by Mason Rader from 1988. The left side, in acrylic on plywood, depicts a masked cowgirl lashing a whip before a blazing pink and orange sunset. The top right side of the piece features cut and folded aluminum and exposed screws which depict a hand holding a revolver, a bullet, and stars. Over this aluminum section is a piece of plexiglass, raised on exposed bolts, with the word “wild” painted in log shaped letters and “west” in shades of pink which mimic the setting sun on the left side of the piece. Beneath this plexiglass is a raised acrylic on board painting of a masker person clutching a rose between their teeth. This section is framed in green painted wood. Absolutely wonderful, unique piece. Hangs by wire on back. In excellent condition.
