A magnificent Art Deco mahogany buffet with a variety of storage. This piece features two sets of cabinet doors with simple marquetry designs. Bands of veneer with diagonal grain form an arrow pattern on each set of doors pointing towards the piece’s center. These doors open via a single metal key which sets into stylized black and nickel locks—one such “lock” on each side is simply an adornment. The key releases a slide lock allowing the doors to swing open. The left side opens to reveal a single fixed shelf. The right side has an identical shelf with the addition of two slim drawers along the top. This piece sits atop tapered square legs with spear-like metal capped feet. There are some small scratches here and there. A chip to veneer along front edge has been patched and colored to match. In great vintage condition.
