Absolutely stunning two-piece side table, hand carved out of Rosewood. The base features multiple carved panels attached via hinges to form a collapsible octagon-shaped base. The top is separate from the bottom and is a carved round surface that fits into the base. It is very detailed and features a Japanese Maple leaf motif throughout and a bone inlaid palace motif on the center of the top. There are some areas of loss to the inlay of the palace motif on the very top. Otherwise excellent vintage condition.
