A beautiful eight-drawer tansu chest for use on a dresser top as storage for jewelry or small treasures. This piece features an exotic wooden frame and eight red velvet-lined drawers, many of which are sectioned, that pull open via intricate brass pulls. There are floral brass details throughout trim, sides and top, and a central brass medallion on top featuring two fighting roosters. The sides have brass handles. In overall excellent vintage condition.
