A gorgeous, midcentury, walnut low dresser by Bassett for their “Tropicana” line. This piece features eleven drawers of varying sizes. Seven drawers run down the middle of the piece with two stacks of three short drawers set over a lower, long drawer. These drawers all open via beautifully sculpted, walnut pulls with brass ends. These central drawers are flanked by a cabinet door on each side. These cabinet doors open by the same pulls as the drawers and have four embossed geometric motifs with burl veneer. These cabinet doors each conceal two deep drawers. This piece sits atop contoured, integral, square legs. There is light wear throughout commensurate with age and use. Most notably there is fading to finish around upper edges. Some of the brass inlays on legs are missing. In overall great vintage condition.
