Montgomery Ward “Suburbia II” Sideboard

Sale price Price $825.00 Regular price Unit price  per

A lovely, midcentury, walnut credenza by Montgomery Ward for their “Suburbia II” line from the 60s. This piece features a cabinet door and three drawers. The cabinet sits on the left side of the piece and contains open storage with a single, removable, recessed shelf. The door opens via a contoured, inset, brass pull set on the top of the door face. The three drawers on the right side of the piece open via wooden pulls embossed on the drawer faces forming a frame-like pattern. The uppermost drawer has a green felt-lined, divided, space on the left side. This piece sits atop tall, tapered turned legs with brass capped feet. They are attached across the front by a gracefully arching stretcher base. There is light wear here and there, mainly faint fading to top around where a hutch top sat—see pics. In overall great vintage condition.
