Midcentury, walnut gentleman’s chest by United Furniture. This piece features five drawers and two areas of open storage. The top of this piece has a pair of cabinet doors which display a beautiful walnut grain. They open by hidden, sculpted pulls set along their inner edge. Behind each door is a single petite drawer set below open storage.
Below this cabinet are three full size drawers which open via pulls set along their outer edge formed by the drawer face extending past the side of the drawer into a shadow box-like, inset frame.
This piece sits atop graceful spider legs built into a stretcher base. There is some light finish wear throughout, mainly to top—see pics. Some spots have been filled and colored. In great vintage condition.
