A gorgeous vintage midcentury textured colorful impasto cityscape painted with acrylic on a walnut panel and signed “Mikat.” Tall skyscrapers with grid-like windows dominate the background while a gentle bridge is in the foreground with rippled water running beneath. The colors of the buildings are reflected in the water below.
On the back is written in pencil “NY Panel”. This piece has a beveled wooden edge and set upon another piece of walnut also with a beveled edge and backed in a burlap cloth.
